Centria AI ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Centria AI platform, website, and browser extension. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — your name and email address when you create an account
• Content you save — prompts, notes, and conversation excerpts you explicitly choose to save using our extension or platform. We never collect content automatically.
• Usage data — basic information about how you use the platform (pages visited, features used) to improve the product
• Device information — browser type and version, operating system, for compatibility purposes

2. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and operate the Centria AI platform and browser extension
• Build and maintain your AI identity profile as you direct
• Generate context based on your saved inputs
• Improve and develop new features
• Send important service updates (never marketing without consent)

3. The browser extension

The Centria AI Chrome extension operates strictly under the following principles:

• User-initiated only — the extension only captures content when you explicitly click "Save to Memory." It never passively records, scrapes, or monitors your browsing.
• No background activity — the extension does not run in the background or send any data without your direct action.
• Active tab access — the extension accesses the active tab only at the moment you click "Save to Memory," solely to capture the content you intend to save.
• Supported sites — the extension operates on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot only.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit. We implement row-level security so your data is only accessible to you.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account, identity profile, and all saved content within 30 days.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time

7. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's privacy

Centria AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made.
